Any ways on how to sell cakes?

I love baking and decorating cakes. I have done several birthday parties, weddings and other special occasions. Lately people have been telling me I should start selling them. Since I just had my second child I would love to start a buisness out of my home with my cakes. Any ideas on how I can get started??

OK well it sounds like you do a really well job which is great and people love them! but, to SELL food legally, you have to own a food handlers card i think.

i am in high school and in a culinary class, we all had to get our food handlers card by taking this very simple test that helps keep people safe and not get sick from food, i only have my volunteer card, because the final card cost like $16 and you need that to get a job in which you work with food,

so just to be safe, if i were you, i would go to this website and read about it, they give you a simple packet to read and learn to keep your food safe then you can legally sell your wonderful cakes!
