Wedding Table Centerpieces

Is there a flowering ground cover that would work well for wedding table centerpieces?

I’m trying to think of an economical centerpiece for my best friend’s wedding and I thought we could plant a little pot of flowers for each table. Some type of ground cover seemed like a good idea because its low (out of the line of sight from opposite sides of the table) and there would be lots of flowers per pot. I was thinking something like sweet allysum but I read that it has a strong scent (doesn’t seem like a good plan for a dining table).
So my question (sorry about the long explanation)… Is there any plant you’d recommend that would work for this plan? I’d grow the plants myself and the wedding is the first week of August. Also, I’m thinking white, but the wedding colors are silver and light blue if there are options that would work with those colors.

Little pots of pansies would look great IMO.Plant several different colours in each pot.Make sure they get sunlight right up till the last minute as they may close up.
