i bought this apron for my soon to be sister in law, but i want to add some more small gifts. i was thinking maybe some measuring cups and a cake pan with the apron

How about a cookbook with her favorite type of cuisine or maybe some romantic recipes since they are newlyweds.

And maybe as a gag include a rolling pin, because every good wife should have one just in case her husband gets out of line.

Just Joking… I would go with the first suggestion.
