Is this a formal idea for place card holders?
I am deciding between the two: Placing 5 white jordan almonds in a round tulle circle then tie it with a black ribbon along with the place card OR Placing a meringue cookie in a round tulle circle then tie it with a black ribbon along with place card. * My wedding has a traditional formal theme. Colors are black, white and silver with a hint of slate blue. Thanks in advance. Any other ideas will help.
It sounds like more of a favor than a place card holder. I would personally go with some kind of silver place card holder without food. Such as small silver balls that are flat on the bottom and have little slits in them to place the card, or just fold them in half to tent them. I personally think this will look more formal than placing them on food.
