How will you know when it’s time to get engaged/propose engagement?(to a girl)?

There are a lot of things. To say when you feel like you’re in love is vague. Many relationships start out full of love. But you have to be sure that you’re compatible for one. And that’s the first thing. Also…

When you feel like she has everything you want and need in a woman.

When she tries to make you happy.

When you feel like you enjoy talking to each other. Some people would rather call another friend and gossip than to talk to their husband or wife or gf or bf.

When the romance and love-making is excellent and can get better. But don’t be greedy and “do it” all the time. You’ll get bored – even if you experiment don’t “do it” all the time. Take breaks and just “cuddle and smooch” some days or give massages or lay in bed and just talk and hold each other. But practice self-control. It will help in long run and keep you from getting bored and straying. Okay. Also….

When you can talk to her about anything besides romance and making out all the time.

When you like to joke and kid around with each other.

When you feel like she is a true close friend.

When she calls to make sure you okay or to let you know that she’s okay.

When you want to be loyal and devoted to your relationship and to her.

When you start to miss her whenever she’s away.

When she is constantly missing you and always telling you that she loves you.

When you both have patience and understanding with each other.

When you would rather go out and do things with her instead of your family and friends.

When you DON’T try to do things to antagonize the other person. So, don’t try to get even when you get angry sometimes with each other.

When you want to DO THE RIGHT THINGS to please each other.

When you are not complaining or irritated by each other’s faults and habits ALL THE TIME.

When you have similar plans and goals.

When you’re both willing to listen and to change for the sake of the relationship and for happiness.

When you feel that you can trust each other.

When you have enough money and financial sense to save and take care of the bills and provide for your family. You don’t have to do it all alone, but remember that you both must be willing to put some money away for bills and vacations and little trinkets around the house. She wants to live comfortably and so do you, right? Remember: money is ONE of the major causes of failed marriages.

When you don’t want to give her a reason NOT to trust you and vice versa.

When you know she “has your back” and when you feel like you want to support and defend her any way you can.

That’s all I can put up here for now. But there are many other things you should look for too. Be sure to talk and REALLY get to know each other first before you do anything. Remember that some situations like marriage and being together all the time can change peoples’ opinion of each other. If you’re not compatible, you could really get sick of being around each other.
